Thank you to my Beloved Teachers!

Amma is my biggest inspiration, my guru, the master teacher.
Om Amritesvaryai Namaha!

In 2021 I did the first module of Somatic Breathwork Training by Robert Bahedry in the lineage of David Elliott. Breathwork is a self-healing modality that moves blocked energy, creating physical and psychological health.

In 2017 I studied 200hrs of YinYoga with Jo Phee and Joe Barnett. They are students of Paul Grilley and Gil Headly. With Jo and Joe I learned about skeletal variations and to take a more inquisitive approach to yoga alignment.

In 2016 I studied 200hrs with Mia Togo at YogaWorks. With Mia I learned about YogaWorks style sequencing and alignment theory. I also appreciate Mia's integration of Western physical science and psychology with the traditional spiritual elements of the yoga practice.

In 2013 I completed 500hrs Life of a Yogi training with Sri Dharma Mittra. Sri Dharma teaches classical yoga, incorporating the 8 limbs of Ethical Rules (Yamas And Niyamas), Asana (Postures), Pranayama (Breathwork), Pratyahara (Sense Withdrawl), Dharana (Concentration), Dhyana (Meditative Absorbtion) and Samadhi (Bliss, Union with the divine). Learning from Sri Dharma solidified my discipline and devotion in yoga.

In 2013 I studied 50 hours Rocket Certification with Asta Yoga. I first fell in love with Rocket under Fred Williams guidance in San Francisco in 2010. Rocket Yoga is an all levels Ashtanga based practice that allows students to advance their practice quickly.

In 2010 I got my first 200hr certification with Yoga to the People in San Francisco. How amazing to provide yoga to all with donation based yoga! I am eternally grateful for YTTP for teaching me a daily practice, for providing a space to recover from addiction, and giving me a chance to teach. Here I learned Power Vinyasa style in the lineage of Brian Kest and Traditional Hot style in the lineage of Bikram Choudry.
